Mike Taylor – Managing Director – Web Based Recruitment

Mike has been involved in online recruitment for over 10 years and established Web Based Recruitment in 2001 as an independent online recruitment marketing consultancy helping companies with all aspects of their online recruitment activities. Prior to starting Web Based Recruitment Mike worked in HR and Recruitment for IBM, Motorola and Nokia.
Early to recognise the potential of social media and the importance of mobile and video for recruiters, Mike introduced Europe’s first ever Social Media in Recruitment Conference in July 2009. This was quickly followed by the world’s first Mobile and Video in Recruitment Conference in September 2010. Helping recruiters maximise the use social media, mobile and video will be a continuing theme for Mike in 2012 as he continues to develop new services.

Presentation: The Trends Behind Mobile Recruitment
Jeremy manages the European mobile business for comScore, Inc., overseeing the delivery of mobile market intelligence and media measurement products as well as custom research reports to advertising, media, mobile network operator and handset manufacturer customers within Europe. He is a seasoned mobile industry veteran with a background in delivering mobile advertising and content platforms as well as licensing smartphone operating systems and handset technologies.
Prior to joining comScore, Jeremy was CEO at Rapid Mobile Media Ltd., a mobile advertising, application and content delivery solutions provider where he was responsible for overseeing relationships with customers such as Betfair, Warner Brothers, MSHK, Fox Movies, Foreca and 118118 as well as raising venture capital funding for the company.

A self-confessed ‘geek’ when it comes to gadgets and gizmos, James founded Fonemedia in 2008 – applying the new world technologies of the mobile handset to the needs and requirements of recruiters and agencies alike.
James and his team work with some of the UK’s largest and most prestigious recruiters – Sky, The Army, Royal Air Force, Ernst & Young and Britvic amongst the long list. James is married with 2 young children and also has a major shareholding in an up and coming brewery in Yorkshire.

Rob entered the recruitment world 4 years ago with the launch of his social enterprise CareerPlayer.com.
CareerPlayer is a multi-award winning platform designed to help kids and students make better career decisions. Amongst its myriad of features is the biggest career video library online which was produced by their in-house production company C.P. Productions.
Rob will be sharing some of his knowledge regarding the production and use of video, with a specific focus around online recruitment.
