Posted on 18. Nov, 2011 by admin.

Yesterday saw the 2011 Mobile & Video in Recruitment Conference take place in London.
For the second year in a row there was a mixture of speakers offering insights into the word of mobile & video and how to best apply it in recrutiment.
And once again the feedback was that it was a great success:
- “Very good, great content”
- “Well worth attending, lots of great speakers and excellent information”
- “Very well structured, covered a variety of topics”
- “Well run, varied content, knowledgeable speakers”
- “Learnt a lot, some really good advice”
I will be publishing more posts over the coming days about the conference and there will also be special Recruitment Buzz edition for the conference provided by Keith Robinson and Martin Couzins.

Posted on 14. Nov, 2011 by admin.

There is an excellent Mobile Recruiting Survey which has just been published by Potentialpark Communcations, a company that conducts market research about the information-gathering, decision-making and application processes of job seekers
Potentialpark surveyed more than 30,000 job seekers worldwide and analysed the mobile career presence of more than 350 top employers in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
Top of the list is the ability to “Search for Jobs“ at 57% followed by “Receive job alerts by SMS/email” at 51%.
An extract of the survey has just been published on Mashable and it shows what mobile recruiting activities job seekers would like to do.
